Family Constellations

What Are Family Constellations?
Let’s be honest: some things in life just don’t make sense at first glance.
Why do you keep repeating patterns that don't feel like you? Why do certain areas of life — money, love, family — feel heavy, blocked, or strangely familiar in their stuckness?

Family constellations don’t offer magic solutions. They offer perspective — the kind that emerges when you step back and see the system you’re part of.

This work isn’t about fixing. It’s about understanding. It's about witnessing what you've been carrying — often unknowingly — and choosing, gently, to put some of it down.
What Exactly Is It?
Originally developed by Bert Hellinger, and expanded by many practitioners including Daan van Kampenhout, family constellations are a method of exploring the relational field — the energetic network of bonds, loyalties, exclusions, and inheritances that shape our inner and outer world.
Daan brought a broader, more inclusive lens to this work — one that acknowledges ancestral memory, collective trauma, and the symbolic/spiritual dimension of systems. His approach respects not only psychological truths, but also the deeper soul-level resonances within a family or lineage.
This method doesn’t offer quick answers. It reveals deeper questions. It invites presence. And sometimes, that’s where the shift begins.

A constellation (whether one-on-one or in a group) creates a living map of your family system. Using people or symbols to represent family members — even those long gone — we observe the dynamics between them and allow what's hidden to come into the light.
You don’t analyze. You feel. You observe. You witness.
Maybe what you thought was “your issue” turns out to be part of something older. Maybe the pressure you’ve been carrying belongs to someone who never had space to speak. Constellations don’t erase the past — but they can release the hold it has on your present.
What Might You Walk Away With?
✔A clearer understanding of your relational patterns
✔ Relief in knowing what you’ve been carrying — and what’s not yours to carry
✔ Compassion for your family system, without needing to justify or idealize it
✔ A renewed sense of choice and direction

This isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were before the weight of old stories.
Grounded, Not Glamorous
In a world that often sells healing as quick and easy, constellations ask something different: presence. Not performance.

There’s a difference between the professional and the performer. I don’t come here to impress you. I come here as someone who’s walked this path, still walks it, and holds space for others doing the same.

This work doesn’t give you the illusion of instant transformation. But it might give you something more real: a moment of clarity, of truth, of quiet inner shift.
